Neuritin은 신경돌기 성장과 가지 형성을 촉진하여 신경형성에 기여하며, 과발현 시 성상세포종 진행과 연관될 수 있습니다. 대체 스플라이싱으로 여러 전사체 변형이 존재합니다. NRN1은 Severe Congenital Neutropenia 8 및 Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type III와 관련이 있습니다.
