Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The FH (Fumarase) protein is an enzymatic component of the tricarboxylic acid cycle (Krebs cycle), catalyzing the conversion of fumarate to L-malate. It exists in both cytosolic and mitochondrial forms, differing by translation start site. The mitochondrial form undergoes N-terminal processing to match the cytosolic form. FH functions as a homotetramer and shares similarity with thermostable class II fumarases. Mutations in FH can lead to fumarase deficiency and progressive encephalopathy.
