Product Specific Information

This is an affinity-purified Goat Anti-Rat IgG (H+L) antibody conjugated with NovaFluor Yellow 590.
It shows minimal cross-reactivity with Mouse, Human, Bovine, Horse, and Rabbit serum proteins.
The antibody reacts with the heavy chains on rat IgG and the light chains common to most rat immunoglobulins.
No reactivity was detected against non-immunoglobulin serum proteins.

Each product contains:

• 1 vial of NovaFluor conjugate
• 1 vial of CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer

Suggested Dilution Ranges

• 1:500–1:5,000 for IHC on tissue sections
• 1:5,000–1:100,000 for ELISA and Western blot (chromogenic substrates)
• 1:10,000–1:200,000 for Western blot (ECL substrates)

Handling and Compatibility

• NovaFluor dyes are not compatible with DNA intercalating viability dyes such as propidium iodide, 7-AAD, and DAPI.
• Use Invitrogen LIVE/DEAD Fixable Dead Cell stains for viability assessment.
• CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer (Cat. No. C001T06F01) is required for optimal staining with NovaFluor conjugates.
• Add 5 µL of CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer per sample prior to combining with cells.
• For single-color controls, use 5 µL per 100 µL of cell sample (10³–10⁸ cells).

Typically generated by immunizing host animals with pooled rat immunoglobulins and further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity, fragmentation, conjugation) for high specificity.
