Target Information
Bcl-2 family 단백질은 apoptosis의 중요한 조절 인자입니다. Proapoptotic 구성원인 Bax는 BH1–3 영역을 포함하며, BH3-only 단백질인 Bim은 짧은 BH3 모티프만을 가집니다. Bfk는 BH2 및 BH3 영역을 가지지만 BH1 또는 BH4는 없는 새로운 Bcl-2 패밀리 구성원으로, Bcl-G(L)과 가장 유사합니다. 세포질에 존재하며, 발현 시 약한 apoptosis를 유도하고 Bcl-2의 생존 기능을 억제합니다. Bfk는 위, 난소, 골수, 비장에서 낮은 수준으로 발현되며, 임신 중 유선에서 발현이 증가하여 유선 발달에 관여할 가능성이 있습니다.
