Product Specific Information

Reconstitution: Add 50 µL of double distilled water (DDW) depending on sample size.
The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
The reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week; for longer storage, aliquot and keep at -20°C.
Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles. Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

GPR55 is expressed in the brain, with mRNA transcripts detected in the caudate nucleus and putamen.
G-protein Coupled Receptors (GPCRs) are a large family of signaling molecules sharing a seven-transmembrane domain structure.
They exist in active and inactive forms, mediating signaling via G-proteins and downstream effectors.
Negative regulation of GPCRs plays a key role in cellular physiology and pharmacological research.
Examples of GPCR-targeted drugs include Zyprexa (Eli Lilly) and Claritin (Schering-Plough).
