Target Information

SHPRH is a novel gene containing SNF2, PHD-finger, RING-finger, helicase, and linker histone domains. It is considered a possible tumor suppressor gene. These domains are found in DNA repair proteins, transcription factors, and helicases. SHPRH maps to chromosome region 6q24, which is associated with tumor suppression activity.
