A 1:1,000 dilution of MA5-45964 was sufficient for detection of RAB1A in 10 µg (A549, MEF) and 20 µg (Mouse Brain) lysates by ECL immunoblot analysis.
Detects approximately 23 kDa. Cross-reacts with RAB1B.
Target Information
RAB1A is a member of the L18AE family of ribosomal proteins and a component of the 60S ribosomal subunit. It may play a role in viral replication by interacting with the hepatitis C virus internal ribosome entry site (IRES).
This gene is co-transcribed with the U68 snoRNA located within the third intron, and multiple processed pseudogenes are dispersed throughout the genome.
