Product Specific Information
Each lot’s sensitivity is confirmed using ELISA, and specificity is verified by immunoelectrophoresis (IEP).
Rehydrate with 1.1 mL of deionized water and let stand for 30 minutes at room temperature to dissolve. (Product has been overfilled to ensure complete recovery.) Centrifuge to remove particulates. Prepare fresh working dilution daily.
Shelf life: 1 year from date of receipt.
Based on immunoelectrophoresis, no reactivity is observed to non-immunoglobulin goat serum immunoglobulins.
Target Information
Anti-Goat secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for goat immunoglobulins. They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of goat antibodies.
Secondary antibodies provide versatility and enhanced sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody.
Typically generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species, these antibodies can be further purified and modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, fragmentation, label conjugation) to produce highly specific reagents.
