YES1 is a recombinant human protein kinase belonging to the SRC family of non-receptor tyrosine kinases and is the cellular homolog of the Yamaguchi sarcoma virus oncogene.
It plays a role in regulating cell growth and survival, including apoptosis, cell-cell adhesion, cytoskeleton remodeling, and differentiation.
