The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
GBP1 (guanylate binding protein 1) is a 68 kDa GTPase and member of the GTPase1 family. Its expression is induced by interferon-γ and inflammatory cytokines such as IL-1α, IL-1β, and TNF-α. GBP1 is also induced by poly I:C via TLR3 signaling and depends on NF-κB and IFNα response elements, implicating TLR pathway involvement. Inversely proportional expression of GBP1 and MMP-1, along with related adhesion and migration molecules, indicates a role in suppressing angiogenesis and migration, particularly in endothelial cells. GBP1 acts as a regulatory molecule involved in inflammatory signal transduction and cell migration networks.
