Target Information
Jumonji (JARID2) is a nuclear protein involved in the negative regulation of cell growth. It is required for neural tube formation and is essential for normal heart development and function. JARID2 belongs to a group of proteins characterized by the JmjC domain, which is implicated in chromatin regulation through histone demethylation.
