Product Specific Information

The 390 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD31 (PECAM-1, gpIIa), a 130–140 kDa surface protein expressed on endothelial cells, leukocytes, and platelets. CD31 mediates homotypic adhesion and participates in cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions and signal transduction.

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Tested on mouse bone marrow cells at ≤0.25 µg/test (100 µL final volume). Optimal titration is recommended.

Fluorochrome Information:
Super Bright 645 is a tandem dye excited by 405 nm (violet laser) and emits at 645 nm. Recommended filter: 660/20 bandpass. Use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401) when combining multiple Super Bright dyes.

Handling Notes:

• Light sensitive; protect from light.
• Fixation compatible with IC Fixation Buffer (Product # 00-8222) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product # 00-5333).
• Samples can be stored up to 3 days at 4°C in dark.

CD31 (PECAM-1) is an inhibitory coreceptor regulating T and B cell signaling through ITIM motifs. It is expressed in vascular endothelial junctions and plays key roles in:

• Regulation of immune signaling
• Thrombosis and vascular homeostasis
