Target Information
alpha-Internexin은 신경 발달 초기 단계에서 발현되는 Class IV 중간 필라멘트 단백질로, NF-L, NF-M, NF-H와 유사한 서열 모티프를 가지지만 독립적인 단백질입니다. 많은 성숙 뉴런에서 NF-L, NF-M, NF-H와 함께 발현되며, 일부 뉴런에서는 유일한 뉴로필라멘트 단백질로 존재합니다.
이 단백질에 대한 항체는 뉴런 유형 연구, 조직 절편 및 배양 세포에서 신경 세포 분류 및 추적에 유용합니다. 또한 alpha-Internexin의 조기 발현 특성은 신경 전구세포 및 신경계로 분화된 세포의 진단적 지표로 활용될 수 있습니다.
