Target Information
ZADH2 (zinc binding alcohol dehydrogenase domain containing 2) is a 377 amino acid protein belonging to the zinc-containing alcohol dehydrogenase family. It is encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 18, which contains over 300 protein-coding genes and spans approximately 76 million bases. Mutations in genes on chromosome 18 are associated with various diseases, including Trisomy 18 (Edwards syndrome), Niemann-Pick disease, hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia, erythropoietic protoporphyria, and follicular lymphomas.
