Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, an additional desalting step is recommended (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
MAP2K1 (MEK1) kinase is a dual-specificity protein kinase involved in mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) cascades that regulate cell growth and differentiation.
It is activated by various growth factors, cytokines, and calcium influx. Phosphorylation at serine 218 and 222 residues by Raf1 activates Mek1.
MAP2K1 participates in stress response, apoptosis, and cytokine-induced proliferation. Mutations in this gene are associated with cardiofaciocutaneous syndrome.
