Target Information
The MAD2L1BP protein binds to MAD2 mitotic arrest deficient-like 1 (MAD2/MAD2L1), a key component of the spindle checkpoint that delays anaphase onset until kinetochores attach to the spindle. MAD2L1BP may coordinate cell cycle events in late mitosis and has alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms.
