KNT1 (T-Kininogen 1)는 Rat의 급성기 키니노겐으로, 시스테인 프로테아제 억제 특성을 지닌 치유 단백질로 알려져 있습니다. T-Kininogen mRNA 합성은 Interleukin 6 생성과 관련이 있을 수 있습니다. Rat에서는 4종류의 키니노겐이 생성되며, 그중 T-Kininogen 1과 2는 430개의 아미노산으로 구성된 분비형 단백질로, 세 개의 cystatin 도메인을 포함하고 유사한 기능을 가집니다. 혈장 내 존재하며, 이들은 thiol protease 억제제 역할을 하며 혈액 응고 과정에서 응고 인자의 최적 위치 조정에 기여합니다.
