Target Information
STAT5 alpha는 STAT 전사인자 패밀리에 속하며, cytokine 및 성장인자에 의해 활성화됩니다. 활성화된 STAT5 alpha는 핵으로 이동하여 전사 활성화 역할을 수행합니다.
STAT5 alpha는 IL2, IL3, IL7, GM-CSF, erythropoietin, thrombopoietin 등 다양한 리간드에 의해 반응하며, 종양 발생과 관련된 TEL/JAK2 융합 유전자의 활성화에 관여합니다.
Mouse STAT5 alpha는 BCL2L1/BCL-X(L)의 발현을 유도하여 세포의 항아폽토시스 기능을 나타냅니다. STAT5 alpha와 STAT5 beta는 96%의 아미노산 서열 유사성을 가지며 대부분의 조직에서 함께 발현됩니다.
STAT5 alpha는 생식, 수유, 면역 기능 및 체성 성장 등 다양한 생리적 과정에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
