Target Information
Histone H3 is a DNA-binding protein found in the chromatin of all eukaryotic cells. Together with other core histones, it forms nucleosomes that package DNA.

Its N-terminal tail undergoes post-translational modifications such as methylation, acetylation, and phosphorylation, influencing chromatin structure and gene expression.
