Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

GOLPH1 (also known as GCP60) is a Golgi protein interacting with the integral membrane protein giantin, involved in Golgi structure maintenance. It also interacts with Golgin-160, which can be cleaved by caspases-2, -3, and -7, leading to nuclear localization of Golgin-160 fragments. The interaction strength is regulated by the oxidation state of Cys-463 within GOLPH1.
Additionally, GOLPH1 interacts with Numb, a signaling protein mediating asymmetric cell division of neural progenitor cells, suggesting that Golgi fragmentation and reconstitution during the cell cycle may regulate Numb signaling and couple cell fate with cell cycle progression.
