Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
GOLPH1 (also known as GCP60) is a Golgi protein that interacts with the integral membrane protein giantin and contributes to maintaining Golgi structure.
It also interacts with Golgin-160, which can be cleaved by caspases-2, -3, and -7, leading to nuclear localization of Golgin-160 fragments.
These interactions are regulated by the oxidation state of Cys-463 within GOLPH1, suggesting a coordinated mechanism for Golgi and nuclear dynamics.
Additionally, GOLPH1 interacts with Numb, a signaling protein involved in asymmetric cell division of neural progenitor cells, indicating potential roles in coupling cell fate determination with cell cycle progression.
