Target Information

단백질 합성의 개시는 진핵세포에서 단백질 개시 인자와 RNA 분자 간의 상호작용에 의해 조절됩니다. eIF2 복합체는 α, β, γ의 세 개의 소단위로 구성되어 있으며, GTP 및 tRNA와 삼원 복합체를 형성하여 단백질 합성 초기 단계에서 작용합니다.
EIF2S3 (eukaryotic translation initiation factor 2, subunit 3)는 eIF2γ로도 알려져 있으며, 472개의 아미노산으로 구성된 단백질로 GTP 결합 신장 인자 단백질의 γ 서브패밀리에 속합니다. EIF2S3는 α, β, γ 사슬로 이루어진 이합체로 존재하며, 리보솜 소단위 결합 및 단백질 합성에 필요한 preinitiation complex 형성을 촉매합니다.
