This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
Chemokines are proteins involved in leukocyte trafficking during immune surveillance and inflammation. CX3CL1 (Fractalkine) is a CX3C chemokine that mediates leukocyte adhesion and migration via membrane-bound and soluble forms.
It can suppress production of nitric oxide, interleukin-6, and TNF-α in activated microglia and neuronal cells, suggesting a role in neuroprotection.
Its receptor, CX3CR1, also acts as a co-receptor for HIV-1 and HIV-2 envelope fusion and infection, which can be inhibited by CX3CL1.
