Target Information
MAGEA2는 MAGEA 유전자 패밀리에 속하며, 이들 유전자는 마지막 엑손에 전체 코딩 서열이 위치하고 상호 간 50~80%의 서열 유사성을 보입니다. 프로모터 및 첫 번째 엑손의 다양성으로 인해 동일한 기능이 서로 다른 전사 조절 하에 발현될 수 있습니다. MAGEA 유전자는 다양한 종양에서 높은 수준으로 발현되며, 정상 조직에서는 고환과 태반에서만 발현됩니다. 이 유전자들은 Xq28 염색체에 클러스터로 존재하며, 일부 유전 질환(예: dyskeratosis congenita)과 관련이 있을 수 있습니다. MAGEA2 유전자는 서로 다른 위치에 두 개의 동일한 복제본을 가집니다.
