Description:
This monoclonal mouse IgG1 κ immunoglobulin serves as an isotype control antibody.

Applications Reported:
Reported for use in immunohistochemical (IHC-P) and immunocytochemical (ICC/IF) staining.

Applications Tested:
Tested by immunocytochemistry on fixed and permeabilized MDCK cells and by immunohistochemistry on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded human brain tissue.
Use at the same concentration as the experimental antibody.

Filter Recommendation:
For eFluor™ 570 conjugate, use a filter capturing 570 nm emission (e.g., Excitation 545/25, 565LP, Emission 605/70).
Standard Alexa Fluor™ 555 or TRITC filters are acceptable.

Target Information

Mouse IgG1 is a subtype of immunoglobulin G antibody produced by B cells in response to antigens.
It is the most abundant IgG subtype in serum and plays a key role in the adaptive immune response, including opsonization, complement activation, and antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity.
Mouse IgG1 is widely used in research and diagnostics such as ELISA, Western blotting, and immunohistochemistry, as well as in therapeutic studies like immunotherapy and vaccine development.
