Product Specific Information
- For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
- For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
CD68 (Macrosialin) is a 110 kDa integral membrane glycoprotein primarily expressed in lysosomes of monocytes and macrophages, and to a lesser extent in dendritic cells and granulocytes.
It is involved in phagocytic activity and cell–pathogen interactions. CD68 expression is observed in interdigitating reticulum cells, histiocytic lymphoma, histiocytosis, acute myeloid leukemia (AML), and granulocytic sarcoma. Elevated CD68 levels have been reported in CD34+ cells across several human malignancies, including AML.
