For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL (Product #89882).

Target Information

E2F5 is a member of the E2F family of transcription factors involved in cell cycle control and tumor suppressor protein function.
E2F proteins have conserved domains including:

• DNA-binding domain
• Dimerization domain (interacts with DP proteins)
• Acidic transactivation domain
• Tumor suppressor protein association domain

E2F5 is differentially phosphorylated and widely expressed in human tissues. It shows high similarity to E2F4, interacting with tumor suppressor proteins p130 and p107, but not with pRB.
Alternative splicing results in multiple isoforms.
