Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The PARN protein is a 3′-exoribonuclease similar to the RNase D family, preferring poly(A) as a substrate and efficiently degrading mRNA poly(A) tails.
It plays a role in mRNA decay, maternal mRNA silencing during oocyte maturation and embryonic development, and nonsense-mediated decay (NMD) of mRNAs with premature stop codons.
Alternative splicing generates multiple isoforms of this gene.
