Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The protein encoded by the PARN gene is a 3′-exoribonuclease similar to the RNase D family. It preferentially degrades poly(A) tails of mRNAs, a key step in mRNA decay.
This protein also contributes to the silencing of maternal mRNAs during oocyte maturation and early embryonic development, and to nonsense-mediated decay (NMD) of mRNAs containing premature stop codons.
Alternative splicing produces different isoforms of this gene.
