PGP9.5는 유비퀴틴 가수분해 효소 및 리가아제 활성을 가지며, 신경계 전반의 뉴런 및 신경섬유, 신경내분비세포, 신장 세뇨관 일부, 정세포 및 Leydig 세포, 난자, 황체 세포 등에서 발현됩니다.
