They combine multiple different recombinant monoclonal antibodies, providing the sensitivity of polyclonal antibodies and the specificity of monoclonal antibodies, with the consistency of recombinant production.

Functionally, these antibodies recognize multiple epitope sites on the target, enabling higher detection sensitivity for low-abundance targets. Each lot contains a defined mixture of light and heavy chains, eliminating biological variability typical of polyclonal antibody production.

Target Information

DNAJC13 (Receptor-Mediated Endocytosis 8, RME8) is a DnaJ domain-containing co-chaperone of Hsc70 involved in regulating protein conformation and intracellular trafficking.
It co-localizes with endosomal markers and plays a role in membrane trafficking through early endosomes but not degradative organelles. DNAJC13 also regulates intracellular trafficking of the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR).
