Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.

Complex II of the respiratory chain is involved in succinate oxidation and electron transfer from FADH to CoQ.
It consists of four nuclear-encoded subunits located in the mitochondrial inner membrane.
The iron-sulfur subunit is highly conserved and contains three cysteine-rich clusters that may form the enzyme’s iron-sulfur centers.
Mutations in this gene are associated with paragangliomas and pheochromocytoma, linking mitochondrial dysfunction to tumorigenesis.
