For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The CTSL1 gene encodes a lysosomal cysteine proteinase involved in intracellular protein catabolism.
Its substrates include collagen, elastin, and alpha-1 protease inhibitor, a key regulator of neutrophil elastase activity.
This enzyme is implicated in various pathological processes such as myofibril necrosis, myocardial ischemia, and renal tubular responses to proteinuria.
CTSL1 belongs to the peptidase C1 family and forms a dimer of disulfide-linked heavy and light chains derived from a single precursor.
Multiple transcript variants encoding the same protein have been identified.
