Target Information
CXXC5는 DVL1 결합 단백질인 CXXC4(Idax)와 유사한 zinc finger 단백질로, 발생 과정에서 Wnt 신호 경로를 조절하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. BMP4 자극 시 신경 줄기세포에서 발현이 증가하며, Wnt 신호 타겟 AXIN2의 발현을 감소시켜 Wnt3a에 대한 반응을 조절합니다. 또한 WT1 전사인자에 의해 CXXC5 전사가 활성화되어 WNT/β-catenin 경로 및 배아 신장 발달에 관여합니다.
