ZIP10 (Slc39A10)는 9개의 막관통 도메인을 가진 아연 수송 단백질로, 세포 성장과 분화에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
ZIP10 mRNA는 갑상선 기능 저하증 쥐의 장과 신장에서 감소하고, 기능 항진증 쥐에서는 증가하여 갑상선 호르몬에 의해 양성 조절됨을 보여줍니다.
또한 침습성과 전이성이 높은 유방암 세포주에서 ZIP10 발현이 증가되어, 전이 표지자 및 치료 표적으로서의 가능성을 제시합니다. ZIP10은 최소 3개의 아이소폼이 존재합니다.
