For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

SOCS (Suppressor of Cytokine Signaling) proteins negatively regulate cytokine receptor signaling through a family of SH2 domain-containing adaptor molecules.
There are eight known SOCS family members: SOCS-1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and CIS.
Each SOCS protein consists of an N-terminal variable region, a central SH2 domain, and a C-terminal SOCS box motif.
SOCS proteins form a classical negative feedback loop that modulates cytokine signal transduction via STAT-induced transcriptional mechanisms.
Transcription of SOCS genes occurs rapidly in response to cytokines, and each member inhibits signaling through distinct pathways.
