Target Information
이 유전자는 peptidylprolyl isomerase (PPIase) 계열의 cyclophilin 패밀리에 속합니다. Cyclophilin은 단백질 접힘, cyclosporin A에 의한 면역억제, HIV-1 감염 과정에서 중요한 역할을 하는 고도로 보존된 단백질군입니다. 다른 PPIase와의 유사성으로 보아, 이 단백질은 단백질 접힘을 가속화하고 oligopeptide 내 프롤린 잔기의 cis-trans 이성질화 반응을 촉매할 수 있습니다.
