This antibody has specificity for Human PPIL1.
Target Information
The PPIL1 gene is a member of the cyclophilin family of peptidylprolyl isomerases (PPIases). Cyclophilins are highly conserved and ubiquitously expressed proteins involved in protein folding, immunosuppression by cyclosporin A, and HIV-1 infection. Based on similarity to other PPIases, PPIL1 may accelerate protein folding and catalyze the cis-trans isomerization of proline imidic peptide bonds in oligopeptides.
