Target Information
Radixin is a cytoskeletal protein that may be important in linking actin to the plasma membrane. It shares high sequence similarity with ezrin and moesin. The radixin gene is localized to chromosome 11q23, with pseudogenes identified on Xp21.3 (RDXP2) and 11p (RDXP1). Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been reported.
