Target Information
PSA (Prostate-Specific Antigen)는 전립선 상피세포에서 생성되는 키모트립신 유사 세린 프로테아제(kallikrein family)에 속하며, 정액에 풍부하게 존재합니다. PSA는 전립선암 환자의 혈청에서 검출되며, 주로 간 유래 세린 프로테아제 억제제인 alpha-1-antichymotrypsin (ACT)과 복합체를 형성합니다. 전립선암에서는 양성 전립선 비대증보다 ACT와 결합된 PSA의 비율이 높습니다. PSA는 전립선 세포 기원의 1차 및 전이성 암을 확인하고 비전립선성 암을 구별하는 데 사용됩니다.
