Product Specific Information
1 µg/mL of MA5-45457 was sufficient for detection of TrpV3 in 10 µg of COS-1 cell lysate transiently transfected with TrpV3 by colorimetric immunoblot analysis using Goat anti-mouse IgG:HRP as the secondary antibody.
Detects approximately 70 kDa.
Target Information
TRPV3 belongs to a family of nonselective cation channels that function in processes such as temperature sensation and vasoregulation.
Thermosensitive members are expressed in subsets of sensory neurons terminating in the skin and are activated at temperatures between 22–40°C.
This gene is located near TRPV1 on chromosome 17, and both proteins may form heteromeric channels.
