Target Information
TOMM34 단백질은 미토콘드리아로 전구체 단백질을 수입하는 과정에 관여합니다. 이 단백질은 샤페론(chaperone) 유사 활성을 가지며, 접히지 않은 단백질의 성숙 부분에 결합하여 미토콘드리아로의 수입을 돕습니다. 세포질에 존재하며 때때로 미토콘드리아 외막과 연관되어 있으며, 약한 ATPase 활성을 가지고 6개의 TPR 반복을 포함합니다.
