For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Interleukin 6 receptor (IL6R), also known as CD126, is a type I cytokine receptor and a subunit of the IL6 receptor complex.
IL6 is a potent pleiotropic cytokine regulating cell growth, differentiation, and immune response.
The IL6 receptor complex includes IL6ST/GP130, shared by multiple cytokines.
Dysregulated IL6 and IL6R expression is associated with diseases such as multiple myeloma, autoimmune disorders, and prostate cancer.
Alternative splicing produces distinct isoforms, and a pseudogene is located on chromosome 9.
