Target Information

B cell linker protein (BLNK) is encoded by the BLNK gene located on human chromosome 10. Also known as SLP‑65 (Src homology 2 domain‑containing leukocyte protein of 65 kDa), BLNK functions as an adaptor protein in the B cell receptor signaling cascade. Deficiency of BLNK leads to improper B cell development. BLNK is phosphorylated by Syk kinase and acts as a scaffold for signaling intermediates such as Vav GEF and Grb2.
