Aliquots of 5 µg, 10 µg, and 20 µg sizes are not recommended; use original packaging until exhausted.
For larger sizes, reduce freeze/thaw cycles by preparing aliquots (≥20 µL). Do not store diluted kinase.

ER (Estrogen Receptor) Alpha Recombinant Protein is an insect cell-expressed, full-length, untagged, human nuclear hormone receptor that binds [³H]-estradiol with sub-nM affinity in hydroxylapatite assays and specifically binds to estrogen response element (ERE) sequences.

Target Information
Estrogen Receptors (ER) are members of the steroid/thyroid hormone receptor superfamily of nuclear receptors.
ER is a ligand-activated transcription factor that, upon estrogen binding, undergoes conformational change enabling dimerization and binding to EREs in DNA.
This interaction regulates gene transcription via coactivator or corepressor recruitment.
Two forms exist: ER alpha (ESR1) and ER beta (ESR2), encoded by separate genes.
At least four ER alpha isoforms are known (66, 53, 47, 35 kDa).
ERs are widely expressed and essential for sexual development, reproduction, and bone function.
They are implicated in diseases such as breast and endometrial cancer, and osteoporosis.
