Target Information
KAL1 (Anosmin-1)은 세포외기질에 결합된 당화 단백질로, 후각소엽 발달 이상 및 생식호르몬 분비세포 이동 장애로 인한 X연관 유전질환인 Kallmann Syndrome (KS)과 관련이 있습니다. Anosmin-1은 FGFR1의 N-말단 cysteine-rich domain, whey-acidic protein-like domain 및 첫 번째 FnIII repeat를 통해 FGFR1의 D2와 D3 ectodomain에 직접 결합합니다. 이를 통해 FGFR1 신호전달을 조절하며 FGF2-FGFR1-heparing complex의 형성과 활성화에 상반된 영향을 미칠 수 있습니다.
