Product Specific Information

The H57-597 monoclonal antibody reacts with the beta chain of mouse TCR. TCR beta is expressed by thymocytes and most peripheral T cells. Crosslinking of the TCR complex with H57-597 induces activation, proliferation, or apoptosis depending on assay conditions. It serves as a phenotypic marker for TCR beta-expressing T cells.

  • Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
  • Applications Tested: Mouse thymocytes and splenocytes (≤0.6 µg/test)
  • Each product includes 1 vial of NovaFluor conjugate and 1 vial of CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer.
  • Compatibility Note: NovaFluor dyes are not compatible with DNA intercalating viability dyes (e.g., PI, 7-AAD, DAPI). Use Invitrogen LIVE/DEAD Fixable Dead Cell stains instead.
  • CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer (Cat. No. C001T06F01): Required for optimal staining. Add 5 µL per sample to antibody cocktails or single-color controls.
  • Technology: NovaFluor conjugates are based on Phiton™ technology, enabling engineered fluorescent signatures optimized for minimal spillover and spread.
  • Excitation: 493 nm; Emission: 720 nm; Laser: 488 nm (Blue)
