For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

PIK3CG (p110 gamma) is the sole class IB phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase family member. Along with class IA family members, it generates the second messenger PIP2.
Unlike class IA enzymes that signal downstream of receptor tyrosine kinases, PIK3CG primarily signals downstream of GPCRs. The enzyme phosphorylates phosphoinositides on the 3-hydroxyl group of the inositol ring and modulates extracellular signals, including those from E-cadherin-mediated cell-cell adhesion, crucial for epithelial integrity.
It also plays a pivotal role in regulating NK cell cytotoxicity. The gene is located in a commonly deleted segment of chromosome 7, previously identified in myeloid leukemias.
