Target Information
FOXK1은 전사 조절 인자로, 포도당 대사, 해당작용, 근세포 분화 및 자가포식 등 다양한 생물학적 과정에 관여합니다.
- 포크헤드 DNA 서열 모티프(5'-GTAAACA-3')에 결합하여 전사 활성화 또는 억제 역할을 수행합니다.
- FOXK2와 함께 해당작용 관련 효소(HK2, PFK, PKLR, LDH 등)의 발현을 촉진하고, PDK1/PDK4를 통해 피루브산의 미토콘드리아 내 산화를 억제합니다.
- mTORC1 신호에 반응하여 핵으로 이동, 해당작용 및 HIF1A 관련 유전자 발현을 조절합니다.
- FOXK2와 함께 골격근에서 자가포식을 억제하며, 근육 단백질의 분해를 방지합니다.
- 근육 전구세포의 증식과 분화를 조절하고, 근육 재생 및 재형성 과정에 필수적입니다.
- Wnt/β-catenin 신호를 양성 조절하며, 바이러스 복제를 억제하는 항바이러스 유전자 발현에도 관여합니다.
