Product Specific Information
Reconstitute with 1 mL of distilled water. After reconstitution, store undiluted at 4ºC in the dark.
For FACS analysis, use 10 µL of the suggested working dilution to label 1×10^6 cells in 100 µL.
Rat anti-mouse F4/80 antibody, clone Cl:A3-1 recognizes the murine F4/80 antigen, an approximately 160 kDa cell surface glycoprotein belonging to the EGF-TM7 family. It shares 68% amino acid identity with human EMR1.
Target Information
F4/80 antigen is a 160 kDa cell surface glycoprotein, a member of the EGF-TM7 family, sharing 68% identity with human EMR1. Expression varies during macrophage maturation and activation. It is found on mature tissue macrophages including Kupffer cells, Langerhans cells, microglia, peritoneal, lung, thymus, bone marrow, and splenic macrophages. Also expressed on some dendritic cells but absent in T cell zones of spleen and lymph node. Suggested role in generation of efferent CD8+ regulatory T cells.
